Meet Our Vicar

Anthony DiLiberto was born and raised in Southern California, where he attended Concordia University, Irvine. Shortly after graduating in 2008 with a degree in Christian Education Leadership and a minor in Spanish, Anthony was sent by the LCMS Office of International Mission to Peru in order to direct the mercy efforts of the brand new Peruvian Lutheran Mission. After two years of eating guinea pigs and sharing Jesus with the locals in the small farming town of Lunahuana (loon-a-wan-ah), God sent two more missionaries to support the growing efforts there.
One of Anthony's new teammates was Jamie Endorf. Jamie was born and raised in Nebraska, where she graduated from Concordia University, NE with a degree in Secondary Education, concentrating in Spanish and English. After teaching Spanish at Metro East Lutheran High School in Edwardsville, IL for 5 years, Jamie was sent by the LCMS Office of International Mission to Peru in order to take Anthony's job as shortterm mission team coordinator.
She would end up taking not only Anthony's position, but his heart as well. Jamie and Anthony were married in July of 2012 in Jamie's hometown, Tobias, NE. The two returned to Peru to continue their work as missionaries. This time their work would take them to the country's capital city of Lima, where Anthony would facilitate the Peruvian Lutheran Mission's mercy work at the Mighty Fortress Mercy House. There the members of the emerging church body reach out with the love of Christ to children and teens forced to live and work on the streets of Lima.
Anthony and Jamie returned to the United States in April 2014 so that Anthony could pursue the Office of the Holy Ministry at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO, but not before having their first daughter, Eliana in January of that same year. Then, in April 2016, they welcomed Eliana's sister, Gabriella, into their family. The DiLibertos are very excited to learn, serve, and grow during their time on vicarage. They have hopes of returning to the foreign mission field upon Anthony's ordination.
